Terms & Membership Agreements
By enrolling in The Make Space Membership or attending a Single Session Drop-In, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Disclaimer – Not a Replacement for Mental Health Treatment
☑ I understand that this membership is a therapeutic art experience focused on creative exploration, personal reflection, and self-expression. While sessions are facilitated by Ashleigh Gureckas, a Professional Canadian Art Therapist, this offering is not clinical art therapy, and does not constitute a therapeutic relationship or replace mental health treatment.
☑ This membership is not a substitute for individualized therapy, counseling, psychiatric care, or crisis intervention. If I need mental health support, I agree to seek it through qualified services in my region.
2. Release of Liability
☑ I acknowledge that participation in the Make Space Membership is voluntary and for personal, non-clinical use.
☑ I agree that Ashleigh Gureckas, Discover Art Therapy, and any associated facilitators are not liable for any emotional distress, personal challenges, injuries (emotional or physical), or disruptions that may arise from my participation in live or recorded sessions.
☑ I take full responsibility for my emotional well-being and agree to seek professional help if I become emotionally activated or require additional support outside the scope of this membership.
3. No Refund Policy – Monthly and Annual Memberships
☑ I understand that, due to the digital nature of this membership and immediate access to its content, all sales are final.
☑ No refunds, partial or full, will be issued for monthly subscriptions or annual memberships under any circumstance, including non-participation, missed sessions, or changes in availability.
☑ I am responsible for managing my subscription through the Member Portal. I can cancel or pause my membership at any time, or email [email protected] for customer service support.
4. Personal Use Only – Copyright and Content Boundaries
☑ I understand that all art invitations, session prompts, written content, and any downloadable resources are the intellectual property of Discover Art Therapy.
☑ I agree to use all content for personal creative purposes only and will not reproduce, share, teach from, redistribute, or sell any part of the membership material.
☑ Unauthorized use may result in termination of access and potential legal action.
5. Community Guidelines – Safe and Respectful Space
☑ I agree to engage with the Make Space community in a respectful, kind, and supportive manner.
☑ I understand that while sharing artwork is welcomed, this space is not intended for deep therapeutic processing, emotional unloading, or clinical-level disclosures.
☑ I acknowledge that community areas (comments, Kajabi discussions, etc.) are lightly moderated, and it is my responsibility to use the space in alignment with the tone and boundaries set.
☑ Any behavior deemed disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful may result in removal from the community at the discretion of Discover Art Therapy, with no refund.
